When I was young, really young, I was drawing everytime, everywere I used to carry paper and pencils (I still doing that), that was my life, I enjoyed play with anything and make stories whith it. So my main interests have always been, in a nutshell, draw and play. And Which is the correct career? Emmm... none, nothing, zero, null. Right? Isn't exists? We will see.
Time continued, and my interests were diversified, I started to use computers, watch many movies, play guitar, play video games and make things with software. I really loved do that things, so I noted that my path was (and is) the arts, but not any art, the digital arts. Then I noticed that I wanna be Game Designer, or work for a video game; although always can change my focus.
When I entryed to the middle school that happen, my focus change, at least i thinked that, everytime when someone asked me for my future career I answered saying 'architecture, that is my passion', jajaja(hahaha), 'MY PASSION' I believed that, anyway I wasn't so far.
Probably none of you think that the answer, was in Google, but 'in internet i trust', so in my last year of school I searched: 'What can i study for make toys?' Why did I type that? Because that was my focus at that time. And the answer was.... Industrial Design! Great, lets go for it. Then I continued investigating, I found that Design is a very diverse career, like my interests. And finally here I am, despite everything, I enjoy everyday of my life, or my student life (although they are the same jaja). That's my story.
Wow! It's great that you always had a clear focus, I hope you can cover everything you like now and in the future, it's great how you congured it, I laughed

DeleteHi Andrés! What a good story haha. I totally agree with you. Many times the correct career only depends on being constant and focusing on what we are doing, but always we need to change our point of view about the things. Otherwise we have a society of specialists where everyone lives in their own pleasure bubble or where each one lives his own slavery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diego, I really appreciate your comment. You understood exactly my point
DeleteHi Andres!
ReplyDeleteI love what you wrote, for a moment of my life I also believed that my passion was architecture, but I am not interested in video games like you.
